What is a good program that scans and gets rid of all types of registry errors for free?
i’ve been lookin around on the internet for a program that gets rid of all kinds of registry errors for free, i found some, but they only get rid of a few kinds of registry errors. anyone know of a program that gets rid of all kinds of registry errors for FREE?
A couple of good free multi-tools which include registry cleaners are Advanced SystemCare 3 and Glary Utilities. Each has slightly different abilities. I have used and can recommend them both.

For just a strictly registry cleaner with no bells or whistles, I currently use and recommend Comodo’s Registry Cleaner.

* Keep in mind that any registry tool can possibly make a mistake and delete a critical file (It does happen, even with the best of them).
So be sure to have which ever tool you choose back-up any changes it is going to make before it makes them.
Go here for that, as it can be a very very bad idea to run the scans. They can do more harm then good. Just a heads up.

CCleaner. Do a scan then go to the left side of the screen and click registry, then scan for issues, then fix all issues. Keep on doing it until they are all gone. It never messes it up. It is the best for you computer.

Try Advanced System Care from Iobit. http://www.iobit.com/advancedwindowscareper.html . It’s free but they have a pro version that you have to pay for.
You could also try Glary Utilities and it’s free http://www.glaryutilities.com/gu.html
Whatever you use you should make a restore point just in case.

First, understand that a real registry error will pretty well corrupt Windows and you will need special software tools to get in and correct it, if you know what it is of course.
That said, there is an excellent freeware tool out there called EasyCleaner by ToniArts. It will look for registry entries that are unnecessary or point nowhere, remove entries from the Add/Remove program list in Control Panel, remove cookies, temporary internet files and other unneeded files, and so on. STAY AWAY from the Remove Duplicate Files option as many programs have files that duplicate Windows functions and have the same name but that include special internal instructions the Windows file doesn’t have. So if you kill them your program will stop working. EasyCleaner has an Undo option if you make a mistake. Also stay away from memory-resident Registry Cleaners that are on a permanent scan as all they do is slow you down. They don’t really help much.

The best, most trustworthy and safe Registry Cleaner is
Comodo Registry Cleaner. It is completely free and will not ask to update fo full version before cleaning.
