Is it safe to use the Glary Utilities registry cleaner?

December 2nd, 2010 Leave a comment Go to comments

I have heard that a lot of registry cleaners can mess up your computer if you’re not careful. I have a friend who claims that he is a computer genius. I asked him if registry cleaners were safe to use and he said that only the registry cleaner that comes with Glary Utilities is safe to use. So I want an answer from someone other than him. Is it safe to use the Glary Utilities registry cleaner?

Yes very much safe.

I would agree with your friend about all the others.
I have been using Glary for 2 years now with no problems.
But, allways be careful, find out the effect and implications of any change to your computer
    before using.

Seems okay. It is VERY true that one mistake in the registry can render windows and/or other software inoperable. be careful and experienced !

jv16 PowerTools has been about the world’s best for years and years now and is praised by power users for the abilities to perform registry works – repair, adding changing keys etc. They have just offered the free home version now…..

Or, try our new freeware program:
PowerTools Lite. A two-click-solution for PC Cleaning and error fixing.
    http://www.macecraft.com/ptlite/

This is really great and strongly recommended for the new or novice user who is concerned with a clean registry but also aware of the damages by mistaken deletions and "false positives" of a valid key in use – much from inferior products. PowerTools Lite has three or four clicks for safe scanning all the way up to very aggressive. Use just the first click – completely safe scan that will only detect junk keys safe to delete – usually leftovers from uninstalls etc. Strongly recommended for the novice until experienced.

Glary Utilities is okay because it has a backup facility. In order for a registry cleaner to be really effective, you need to be able to use the tool that’s able to fix the largest number of issues on your PC and do it in the most reliable way. Out of the free cleaners, Glary Utilities seems to be the best one at doing this, but if you want to make your computer faster or fix specific errors, you’re better using a tool such as "Frontline Registry Cleaner" which you can get from http://www.fastregistryfixes.com/best_registry_cleaner_tools.html
