Can a Nys dmv registered repair facility rent space to a dealer applying for a dealer license with dmv?

My father owns a nys dmv registered auto repair shop. He has space he is willing to rent to me for my small dealership. I am in the process of putting together my dealer license application. Will dmv approve the one facility to be registered as two different business types. The business’ are seperate and this is my only concern. Please answer only if you know what you are talking about. Thanks in advance.
Retail dealer license

ny has 2 types of used car license/i assume y ou are doing that/used/one is wholesale and the other is retail/wholesale is no problem but the retail is another thing/have to get requirements for the retail if thats what you had in mind/have to know what you are asking about
