I am trying to find a website relating to fraudulent house repair works by trades people in London.?

February 18th, 2011 Leave a comment Go to comments

Not withstanding several television and radio programmes on shoddy works and deception by tradesmen in London, I cannot find a register or websites on this topic. Has anyone come across such a website or a register of these fraudsters? Any one with recent experiences to share with Yahoo users? Please restrict comments to quality of house repair works and deception with sources of particular useeful experiences. What would be most appropriate is a knowledge of a register, may be from case law.

sorry i have met more fraudulent customers than trades people you get what you pay for .the old saying pay peanuts you get monkeys springs to mind. just make sure you get in writing what you want

Contact Trading Standards at the local council, they will advise. No web site to date.

What you’re looking for is called watchdog.

It’s the one they showed a couple of months ago and then a few weeks ago again.

Good luck, hope no one swindled you.
