My x rocker is broken and the website says something about registering but i dont know what that does for me.

Hi SkateboardDude,

Registering a product in the US is not required to activate a warranty. If you notice most registration forms ask everything including the type of underwear you use. It is a marketing ploy. That doesn’t mean they are all bad but you will notice they will "share" your information with "trusted partners". Translated it means to anyone who will buy our mailing list.

I save my receipts and a company is bound by law to honor the warranty with a receipt no matter if you filled out the registration form.

If you register a product when you by it. It lets you know when the warranty is up and if there are patches or fixes or recalls on your product
