Clean It Time

Disk Defragment doesn’t improve your computer but it allows your computer to pretty much run at the same speed when you first bought the computer, additionally it is also best to run disk clean-up to delete your temporary files

as your pc gets used some of the files in the hard drive get fragmented meaning that small parts of the files end up in a random order making the pc run slower as it takes longer to find all the parts of the files it needs, defragmenting the hard drive puts all the files back in order allowing the pc to run at its maximum speed, you should run a disc cleanup before defragging as this gets rid of any unused files before you defragment, doing both these things should help your pc run at its proper speed, i just use the programs that come with windows to do these tasks as they are perfectly capable of doing it, there is really no need to install 3rd party software to do it

Defragment means to arrange properly. [reducing fragmentation]
when u defragment a disk the space utilization is better done and u can save memory + the disk becomes better arranged in the memory.

De-fragmentation Increases CPU Read Time.
(It Re-Arranges files so they can be accessed faster)

Download, Install & Run CCleaner -> http://download.cnet.com/ccleaner/

Go to Tools, Uninstall.. Uninstall anything you KNOW you dont need.
Also Go to Tools, Startup.. Disable Anything you KNOW you dont need.

Then do Two scans in sections.. Cleaner & Registry.. Remove any Findings.
