CCleaner is still a must-have because you should always use it right after surfing the Internet. It’s registry cleaner is also good, but not as powerful as Glary and Advanced (System?) Care. Also, be careful using two powerful cleaners like Glary and Advanced System Care. Both have strong tools to keep your system optimized, but they can also remove important files. Keep those backups until you know for sure if cleaning has done any harm. I would use one or the other, not both. Advanced System Care is more powerful.

If those previous two slow your browsing, you can un-immunize.

Dump glary, I have seen many machines trashed by it. And Advanced Care. USB disc security I don’t know, but one good anti-spyware/virus is all you need. I am not keen on Avast,but it does work better than Norton or McAfee. Keep it fully updated. Only ever run one active security program or more conflict and reduce security. Download the free scanner from http://malwarebytes.org. Update it at intervals. It can remove the deepest rooted infections to remove the download site infections that invariably will get past any active program due to the nature of downloads. to secure any external drive always right click it after connecting, and select scan with/ and then select Malwarebytes if it is fully updated, otherwise Avast. This will ensure no infections get in that way.

I recommend getting a Kaspersky Internet Security license. Well worth it. I have payed for Norton , PC cillin and other AVP and internet security but they have all failed me.
Kaspersky has worked very well. Unlike others mention that I bought , it notifies you and even blocks dangerous web pages. I did accidentally let a virus through the other day which it removed from my system.
Again when I got a virus with the other mentioned AVP it did not disinfect the system so total format and reinstall of OS.
To have proper protection you must have real time scanning.
