how do you remove the blue registry screen from the windows xp operating system?

My computer won’t start after booting. I get this blue screen that reads the hive registry is missing or corrupt. How do I fix this problem?

Could be a problem with device drivers, hardware or software. This problem can be solved by uninstalling new software, updating device drivers and making minor configuration changes .     if it isn’t much of a problem,reinstall XP.get a fresh start.If not,see if this article helps
