I just tried to request a repair after registering my console and it won’t let me. Is it because my console is out of warranty?

I had to xboxs and both were broke, i sent the wrong xbox which i bought used! So it was already registered. What will happen?
Yeah you had to write all the serial number and other info on some paper when you shipped it to repair.
If it doesn’t match up then they will ship it back..
they might even charge you.

My 360 got the red rings a few days ago, i have registered it for repair, got the ups recipt and label and have it all boxed up and ready to send off, but i want to know,
1)do i need to send anything other that the console and the ups label? (etc referance no)
2) How long does it usually take to arrive at the ms repair centre?

Just put your console in, NO hard drive, NO games, NO wires. It takes about a month to get it back

I want to get my xbox 360 repaired. My warranty is expired. And Im not willing to pay microsoft. If I send in my 360 saying it has 3 RROD would they fix it for free without saying anything? Would they even check to see if it’s broke or what?
Yeah they try it out and see what the problem is. Heres what you do and you cant get into no trouble just play it cool and dont panic.
Go to walmart and buy a new xbox system if you have the reg system arcade system then buy that one. switch the serial tags on the back and if you push in the little lid where you insert your controller theres a serial sticker under there to rip that off of both systems dont put them back on just do the ones on back switch them. then take it back for a full refund of you money. good luck

They register it for you. Look under your registered devices and it will be listed there.
My best friend just gave me his old xbox 360 and it has the 3 light red rings of death but that was fine with me. i need to register the xbox under my account so i can get it sent off and everything repaired and be sure it comes back to my house. is there a way to register the xbox to my account if its already done under his?
yes. i recently just had to do the same thing. you need to call 1-800-4-my-xbox and tell them that you dont know what account that it was previously registered to and that you need to reregister it and they should take it from there

id say calling Microsoft by phone would be the best bet, my xbox just recently broke and my dad called Microsoft and they will send you a box to send in your xbox so you don’t need to pay a thing, not even for shipping, repairs, because xbox just got a new warranty for three years after you purchased it so all free. one bad thing is that you’ll have to wait about a month but HEY, its worth it right good luck!
My xbox broke soo i went to www.xbox.com to register for repairs but it doesn’t seem to have Cyprus, my friend had to call microsoft in England to send it but i want to do it online, help me plz 🙁
